A Day Camp for Boys and Girls Entering Grades 4 through 12 in the Fall of 2010
The Western New England Basketball Camp is designed to foster individual improvement in a climate of competitive fun. The camp is intended to educate young people in a safe environment. This is not an all-star camp. Our varsity coaches serve as camp directors, and they are committed to providing an enjoyable learning experience for all. Participants can expect to develop fundamental skills and life skills, learn basic strategies and self-help drills, meet new friends and, most importantly, have some fun.The camp is located at Western New England College where the athletic facilities are second to none. The Alumni Healthful Living Center (AHLC), a state-of-the-art athletic complex, contains a field house, fitness center, weight room, and pool. We are very excited about our camp, and we want to share this excitement with you. Join us this summer at Western New England Basketball Camp for a great all-around experience.

8:45 a.m. Arrive at AHLC
9:00 a.m. Stretching and Warm-up
9:30 a.m. Stations (skill breakdown and instruction)
10:45 a.m. Team Sessions and Contests
11:00 a.m. Games
12:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00 p.m. Team Sessions
1:30 p.m. Individual Instruction or Pool
2:45 p.m. Games
3:45 p.m. ClosingCamper Pick-up

From the North via Interstate 91:
Leave I-91 at Exit 8, ("Ludlow, Boston 1-291"). Travel to Exit 5B, ("East Springfield"). Turn right off of the ramp onto Page Blvd. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Roosevelt Ave. Take Roosevelt Avenue 2.5 miles to the intersection with Wilbraham Road (fifth traffic light). Turn left onto to Wilbraham Road and follow it 1.5 miles through the second light. Turn right into the parking lot of the Welcome Center. (Total 8.6 miles from I-91)
From the South via Interstate 91:
Leave I-91 at Exit 2 ("East Longmeadow"). Follow signs ("Route 83") to the light at the intersection of Longhill and Sumner Ave. Turn right onto Sumner Ave. Travel straight on Sumner Ave. (which becomes Allen St.) to the traffic light at the intersection of Allen St. and Bradley Road (3.2 miles). Turn left onto Bradley Road and travel 1.6 miles to Wilbraham Rd. and turn right. Travel 0.2 miles and turn right, into the parking lot of the Welcome Center. (Total 5.7 miles from I-91.)
